If regular people like you and I were caught doing this!!!!! heaven forbid...... wearing the royal colors....... OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!!!!! VERY SCARY!!!!!! So you were killed, that was the punishment.

Today I am showcasing another hairstyling aid in the Osis hair styling hair product line. It is called Elastic Fix..... Hairspray No.1 light control. Now I know hairspray to some is just hair spray, but to me it is probably the most important of the styling aids........ the reason why I say this is because it does finish off the look that you are trying to attain. Hairspray, hairspray well what can I say. Out of all the Osis styling aids this is the one that I have used the longest. It is not to strong so you cannot get the brush through it and I find it does not leave a residue either after you shampoo your hair, it is water soluble. In the days gone by hairsprays were just not very good.... I mean your hair would not budge but other than that.... and I have used a couple to say the least!!!!! When you would shampoo hair and the customer would use hair spray, when you wet the hair to shampoo it would leave a build up on the hair and the more you used to more build up....... yuk!!!!. It was really not pleasant and try getting a comb through it!!!!! oh boy!!! Any way technology has come a long way and I really think this product is the best!!!!! Like I said not to sticky...no residue. I always get the 500ml can. The can is normally 300 ml but they have specials sometimes, that's when u get the 500ml can at the price of a 300 ml.
Well this is what I do when I use the spray:
I finish my styling and then I spray. Like I have said before, start slowly and layer till you get the desired effect.

Conservative.............not!!! with Mess Up
WELL I am back.....after being sick....Here I go again, with another awesome product. This one is called Mess Up, matt gum, 100ml by Osis. It is just what it says... matt!!!!! and does it ever make it matt!!!!!! It does not leave a sticky residue on your fingers, I tried it, I rubbed it in between my fingers and not sticky at all!!!! That is why I like the products so much even the strongest control are not heavy or sticky This product gives your hair a rough look ....messy look....a lot of texture....makes hair look chunky. Wow totally amazing!!!!!! Oh by the way, the strength of hold is.... number 2, medium control. You can use it on all hair lengths. Anything with layers and you can use it on individual layers to give it that chunky look. I do not know about You guys I like that look of layers that look separated.

I blow dry my hair, or style my hair.... pardon me!!!!! and then I rub the product in my fingers. Once Apon a Time............In Egypt, Part2,
Hey Guys it me again with the next installment of some more history. Back to Egyptian times.........As I said the last time back as far as 3,000 B.C., Egyptians were using things in nature for cosmetics and hair. minerals, insects, berries used as make up for the eyes, lips and skin, and henna for hair and nails. It stains nails a red brown color and also is like a semi- permanent hair color, no peroxide. I have used henna and it is very natural last about 6-8 washed if I remember correctly.
The were the first to infuse essential oils from all kinds of plant life for perfumes to use in purification purposes. Queen Nefertiti(1400 B.C) and Cleopatra(50B.C). These 2 women were very extravagant in the make up. Kohl on the eyes and stained fingers with henna. Cleopatra even erected a personal cosmetic factory next to the dead sea.
The Ancient Egyptians also made Kohl for the eyes. It is a mixture of ground galena, sulfur and animal fat. It is said to protect their eyes from the glare of the sun.

Now for a truly amazing...... another product from Osis. Introducing the STAR of the show.......Shine Duster. Truly amazing, awesome. The best for hair that is fine and limp. Well the next product I am talking about in the Osis line is called-THRILL Fibre Gum No. 3 Strong Hold
100ml/net This is a product that you use in your hair when you have finished blow drying, or when your hair is damp. It gives texture and definition, definitely not boring.........Very good on short hair!!!!! I use it all the time. If you have long hair and short bangs you can use it on your bangs. It gives definition so you can make your hair do things when it won't.....Play around, have fun, It your hair!!!!!!When you put it in your hand or between your fingers pull it apart it has fibres in it.... it stretches..... That is why you use it after you have styled your hair.
This is what I do......
I finish blow drying, then I put in on my fingers rub it between my hands. Then I put it where I need it so that I can manipulate my hair the way I want it to go. With this product I use mousse, to blow dry my hair first. I layer products to get the effect I want. I find Thrill gives body to make my hair flat or give body.

Well after a busy Day I am back here to tell you a little bit more about the history of where cosmetology came from. Cosmetology is a term used to encompass everything about hair, nails and esthetics. My specialty of course is the hair part.....when I went to school and did a three year apprenticeship, I did do a bit of esthetics, facials, manicure and pedicures. My passion was the hair part but back then I was not as sure of this as I am now!!!!!!

Mountains and Mountains of............Mousse
Well I am back ..... just got home from working, to tell of another fantastic hair styling aid!!!!! Another in the awesome line of Osis products. This blog thing is very addictive!!!!!! hee, hee, hee. There is nothing more exciting than helping others even if it is only with hair products!!!!! It is nice to give information out so people can make some informed choices.
This product is called Grip Super hold Mousse, No.3 for strong hold. 300mls. Lasting hold. I put it on my fingers and it is not sticky when it dry's. Also helps with static and natural shine. Can be used on all hair types my hair is fine and it works great. For short hair you only need a golf ball size of mousse, long hair more. Have you ever used mousse that when you blow dry with brush you cannot get the brush through because of the mousse being to sticky or thick?????
Well I have and to tell you it was a mess, trying to get the brush through my hair..... oh help!!!!! Not a pretty picture...... and I am supposed to be the hair dresser!!!!!! or the other scenario, you put it on and it does not hold so you nearly use the whole can!!!!!! sometimes you just cannot WIN!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF PETE!!!! Well this mousse does hold and you can layer if you need more.
This is how I do it:

There's Something about that...........SERUM!!!!!!!
I'm back!!!! after celebrating the passing of my certification for my hairdressing license. Very happy by the way...... but without any further, ado the next product in a line of fantastic styling aids...... I give the stage to......... FLATLINER FORM, Flattening Iron Serum, 200ml Net/195g. By Osis, how could I forget????!!!! Pardon Me!!!
Oh my Goodness!!!! When I tell you awesome..... I mean awesome. It is not sticky even though it is a level three in strength. Also sprayed it on my fingers and it feels light and and does not have the same consistency as mousse...... well I suppose that is because it is flat iron serum. Duh!!!! I used this product and after flat ironing the persons hair, I could not believe the feel before and then after, soft and shiny. In my experience this has not always been the case. This is probably due to the Hydrolyzed silk and hydrolyzed wheat protein. They smooth the hair out. Smooth the Cuticle layer. (Out side layer of the hair.) Heat proof up to 200 degree's. Now that's amazing!!!!
This is how I do it:
When You are going to flat iron the hair spray on each section. It truly makes a great difference!!!!!

Taking a Look Back........
Well here I am today, on a Monday morning. I am going to give everyone a bit of HISTORY!!!! Some interesting facts on ........ Cosmetology. Something a little different and then tomorrow back to STYLING AIDS!!!!!!
Here's a interesting FACT........ The Barber Pole....... Did you know that barber was also a surgeon!!!!! it comes from and roots in bloodletting which was thought to strengthen the immune system. So if you have seen it in the movies.......That's where they get it from.
Each piece of the barber pole has a meaning. The pole stands for the staff they would tightly hold on to to make the veins stand out during the procedure. The bottom cap represented the basin where blood went into. White bandages that stopped the bleeding hung on the pole to dry. When the wind blew they would twist around the pole forming the red and white pattern. Up until the 19th century many barber also performed minor surgeries and were dentists!!!!!!! I perish the thought...... me being a doctor!!!! SCARY!!!!!!
So the barber pole represents red for blood, white for bandages and blue for veins and bloodletting.

Well I am back......
Our hair, the thing that frames our faces, that we run our fingers through, that we can be obsessive about, US WOMEN!!!! Well I am here to talk about it again another Osis product, styling aid to put in our hair.
This product can be used instead of mousse it is called Upload Style, volume cream. Truly, it gives the hair a great feeling and it is not heavy or sticky!!!!!!
Upload gives volume and shine and is easy to work with. You do not need a lot either. I cannot get over how great these products are and they make the hair shiny and feel soft. Can also be doubled up with the Dust it if you want more volume more freaky and wild!!!! You do not need a lot, one pump for short hair, longer hair two pumps, start that way and the you can add more if desired. Can be used on any hair type as well.
This is what I do:
I put Upload in my hair before styling, if I am not styling I put it in my hair dry, then I style it or place it with my fingers. AS i said before start with one pump and add more if you need to!!!!! When styling my hair with the blow dryer I can make it wild or more sleek style, what ever I desire. so can U. Work with what you have , this product will definitely enhance what ever type of hair you have. I use Upload to blow dry with and then the Dust It after to give my fine hair more body. I want to Upload my hair...... How about You!!!!!

I put Upload in my hair before styling, if I am not styling I put it in my hair dry, then I style it or place it with my fingers. AS i said before start with one pump and add more if you need to!!!!! When styling my hair with the blow dryer I can make it wild or more sleek style, what ever I desire. so can U. Work with what you have , this product will definitely enhance what ever type of hair you have. I use Upload to blow dry with and then the Dust It after to give my fine hair more body. I want to Upload my hair...... How about You!!!!!

Well here's the 411....... A shout out to my favorite hair care products. They give hair the woosh at the end, the make you feel good when it is all said and done. But what to use is the question so I am going to share with u my favorites...... Here goes.
I love Schwarzkopf. They have been around since 1898, so they have a good handle on all avenues of haircare. To say that I am in love with these products would be an understatement!!!!! Their Osis line, Styling product to say the least the best out there. In my opinion. It is SUPERCALAFRAGALIST, AMAAAAZZAZZING, AWESOME, these are just a few of the words to describe the product!!!!!! I will talk about one of their hair products everyday.
The first one is called DUST IT,
It is for short hair, fine hair that is layered, I would even say long hair with short layers. So if you want something to really give your body, This is the product to try. It makes your hair look matte.
It is called a Mattifying power, if you are looking for sleek, shiny.....needless to say not the product for u.
For me, with the fine hair and as u know i am kinda WILD when it comes to my hair!!!! This product is truly amazing, the reason I say this is because I can put it on my hair as a dry product or after you have blow dried my hair. You don't even have to blow dry your hair to use it. It also goes creamy when your rub it in between your hands, so it is very versatile and not heavy. When u feel the powder is is silky to the touch!!!! really amazing, oh I already said that....... So this little red container, 50mls, it really packs a punch! to say the least.
This is what I do:
I blow dry my hair and the I sprinkle it where I want the body, the crown area, top of my head, anywhere where flatness is a problem. I have even done it upside down to get a more exaggerated effect........ and by the way just be light handed when u sprinkle it on u can add as u need like building it up to get the desired affect.
